Hello Family 🎄, I want to challenge a fun family experiment this December called Family Advent Challenge. What is an Advent Challenge? We follow the standard Advent Calendars, you open a little door everyday from December 1 to Christmas and usually, you gets a piece of Chocolate or a Toy. But in our case, we swapped the chocolate or candy with an activity. It’s a way of commiting yourself into doing one specific thing until Christmas. I have been thinking how many of us have a lot of hobbies or TODOs we pushed a side this year because we all get tucked away by our life. Why not just use this 25 days to recapture what we’ve missed in 2025. Here are the Rules. Pick one thing, you wish you learnt/did/started/played in 2025 but barely have the time for (e.g, reading, learning language, following a workout plan, diet, meal challenge or something in personal health or well being). Commit to it for 25 days. Do it for at least, 15-30 mins or give yourself some time with it everydayP from December 1 to December 25. No Guilt. I know you all are very busy. (House is messy, chores, boyfriends or girlfriends, what have you). Please Please, ignore them and give yourself 20 minutes. This is your time to reclaim! Here are some examples of goals, You finally lost, 20 pounds for your incredible diet plan. Finally finishing the book you have on your desk. Learning a new language you have been dying to do it for a while. You wake up early morning at 7:30 AM for 25 days and started a healthy sleep schedule. You finally commit to your skin care routine and have stunning skin by the end of December You finally learnt that one song you’ve been dying to perform with your guitor/piano or ukeleley. You finally know how to (edit videos, write poems, paint, code or dance). You finished that one couse you bought in January and have a brand new certificate by the end of December. You started meditating everyday for 5 minutes and by December 25, you can keep your zen strong for over an hour. Here are some tips, Keep your goals be progressive. For example, you started meditating everyday for 5 minutes and increase your timer by 5 minutes everyday. There are no big or small wins. The only way you progress is starting small with consistency. Remember, this is your 30 minutes each days to finish 2025 strong. I will start: I love movies and films. I will finish a book on filming, set settings and colors and will start learning DaVinci Resolve to learn about making short films. I will practice for 1 hour a day on this. I will finish my pending coding projects. And spend about 3 hours a day at least. Reply to this message if you are participating in this challenge. And let your friends know so we all can cheer and celebrate together in Christmas. For example, I will start [insert your goal] I will learn [insert your goal] I will finish [insert your goal] Ler’s finish the year doing something you love.
